LDI to the Power of Two–for LDI alumni (application)
Instructor: Cynthia Mauris
After focusing on your “self” and learning to lead from where you are, LDI2, “LDI to the Power of Two,” or LDI-squared for short, offers you, an LDI graduate, the opportunity to study leadership theories and how they are practiced. The textbook, Leadership Theory and Practice, ninth edition, by Peter Northouse, serves as the roadmap of study. In addition to studying theories and their practical applications, the cohort provides you with a chance to learn how to design a class. Each chapter is facilitated by one of the cohort participants so you can practice leading from where you are.
Upon the completion of this training, participants will be able to:
- List a minimum of five leadership theories and define them in broad terms
- Compare and contrast two leadership theories
- Identify a theory that you either have experienced or used
