Valeriia Beheida from Ukraine

Valeriia Beheida is originally from Chernivtsi, Ukraine. She moved to the United States in April of 2022 and now lives with her family in Potomac, Maryland.  She speaks Ukrainian and English. She has been a student at Montgomery College since January of 2023 and is majoring in Business. In her spare time, she enjoys creating art, taking photographs, and singing. Valeriia greatly admires the Ukrainian artist Evgenia Gapchinska and the Ukrainian poets Lesia Ukrainka, Taras Shevchenko, Ivan Bahriany, and Mykoka Khvylovy and hopes to share her love for these artists and writers with others.
