Kyaw (“Matrix”) Zin Thu was born in 1999 in Yangon, Myanmar (formerly known as Rangoon, Burma) and now lives with his aunt and uncle in Brookeville, Maryland. He speaks Burmese and English. He moved to the United States in August of 2022. He studied engineering for four years in his home country. He has been a student at MC since the Fall of 2022. He is planning to move to New York City this summer and attend either the Borough of Manhattan College or LaGuardia Community College to study Information Sciences and Systems. He hopes to graduate in 2025. In his spare time, he enjoys playing soccer, watching movies, and hanging out with his friends.
