Hajar Abulfazl from Afghanistan

Hajar Abulfazl is originally from Kabul, Afghanistan and now lives with her husband in Oakland, California. She moved to the United States in July of 2017. She speaks Farsi (Dari) and English. Hajar started her studies at Montgomery College in the spring of 2019. She is majoring in Community Health at Montgomery College and is taking classes remotely. She anticipates graduating from MC in the Fall of 2023. Hajar coached soccer in Oahu, Hawaii last year. Today she works as a soccer coach and as the coordinator of a girls’ soccer program with the nonprofit organization Soccer Without Borders. In her spare time, she enjoys playing soccer, hiking, and exploring San Francisco and other parts of California.
