Inclusion by Design Summit

The Inclusion by Design Summit’s goal is to embrace inclusive design practices and empower others to put them into action into their digital and physical environments. Together, we will explore several topics and frameworks and connect through lessons learned in the pursuit of Taking Action: Small Steps that Lead to Big Results.

- 12:15 p.m.-12:45 p.m. – speed sessions (30 min)
- 1 p.m.-2 p.m. – workshops
- 2:15 p.m.-3:15 p.m. – workshops
- 3:30 p.m.- 4 pm. – Virtual lounge
Accepting Proposals for Conference Session Speakers
We seek dynamic speakers for the free virtual conference for 30-minute speed sessions or 60-minute sessions. These sessions will be live over Zoom and include time for questions and answers.
If you or someone you know would be interested in serving as a conference session speaker, please submit your proposal.
Due date: All speaker proposals must be submitted for review by 11:59 p.m. E.S.T., September 6, 2022.
Submission Requirements:
Proposals may be submitted by individuals or groups composed of students, faculty, staff, and community members.
The proposal committee welcomes topics on inclusive design in practice or application, speed sessions on how to apply an aspect of inclusive design, or other workshops based on the various frameworks but are not limited to Universal Design for Learning, Universal Design, Accessibility and Access, or Inclusive design.
The Proposal Committee anticipates contacting selected speakers no later than September 16, 2022.
