As we move more deeply into the 21st century, students need to be globally competent in a world that’s becoming increasingly globalized; Globalization is therefore an overarching theme for the course, and in the first module of ELAI 990, you will learn more about the terms ‘globalization’ and ‘global competence’. Therefore, this module will create a foundation for the three main content modules that follow thereafter.
