Introduction

You are a part of a global effort to increase access to education and empower students through “open pedagogy.”  Open pedagogy is a “free access” educational practice that places you – the student – at the center of your own learning process in a more engaging, collaborative learning environment.  The ultimate purpose of this effort is to achieve greater social justice in our community in which the work can be freely shared with the broader community.  This is a renewable assignment that is designed to enable you to become an agent of change in your community through the framework of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).  For this work, you will integrate the disciplines of Relationship Management; Fundamental Design to achieve SDG #11: Sustainable Cities and Communities. Target 11.a: Support positive economic, social and environmental links between urban, peri-urban and rural areas by strengthening national and regional development planning

Learning Objectives

Create the CSR campaign video and supporting media material to support the application of SDG’s Programs.

Purpose/Rationale

Students can apply the knowledge they have learned during lectures through social activities that can help the community in solving existing problems

Instructions

Public Relations: Choose 1 community that you will develop and 1 company whose industry matches that community. Conduct research on the expectations of both the community and the company.
Visual Communication Design: Design a concept for supporting material campaign media about Tone and Manner, Color and typography

Format Requirements

Visual Communication Design : Design a concept regarding the design to be made such as target segments, tone and manner, typography and colors used using brainstorming or Design Thinking
Public Relations: The assignment is in the form of a PowerPoint presentation containing descriptions and documentation of research about the community and the company.
Students are able to post the assignment through Study Program’s website.
