Pedagogical Discussions is an annual workshop series introducing a new theme each academic year. 2/26   Pedagogical Discussion 4: Advancing Equity and Inclusion with AI

Time: 3:00 PM – 4:00 PM

Instructor: Phillip Bonner, Paul Miller

Description:  

Focus on the role of AI in promoting equity and inclusion in education. Learn about designing AI tools that support all learners, including those from underserved communities and students with disabilities. Participants will share their experiences and strategies for using AI to advance equity in their institutions.

Outcomes: 

By the end of this workshop, you will be able to:

  • Identify at least three key principles of using AI to promote equity and inclusion in education.
  • Develop a preliminary strategy for implementing AI solutions that address equity challenges at the College.
