Exploring Professional Skills
Discuss the following questions in pairs or small groups:

  • What are some professional skills that are important for CMAs?
  • How do these skills impact patient care and teamwork in healthcare settings?
  • Write down one skill shared by your partner or group that you think is most important:

Part 2: Pre-Reading Activity

Vocabulary Practice

Part 5: Summarization Exercise

Summarizing the Passage
Read the passage again silently.
Fill out the graphic organizer by identifying the main idea and supporting details.
Write a short summary (3–5 sentences) of the passage using your notes:

  • Clarity of the main idea.
