Purpose/Rationale
Instructions
Find and professionally request a 30-to-45-minute interview with a Business Owner (not a manager of a business owned by another). The business may be from any industry and located in any city or country. The business owner should not be a close family member because this is an opportunity for you to expand your horizons. See also Common mistakes for guidelines or warning signs. Schedule the interview for after you have had an opportunity to do the reading and recommended but not required the class for LM 3, 4, 5 and 6. (see assignment schedule). Review, customize and prepare for the interview during this time by reading the interview questions and reviewing the template and rubric. Review the samples in Blackboard keeping in mind that these samples were written to different requirements.
Format Requirements
Paper must be 3-5 pages. Video must include references to the textbook and information relating to the ten interview questions. Video should be 5 minutes in length. If another format is used, please check with me for guideline.
