Design your own Transactional Model of Communication. Identify your communication scenario; For example, student-teacher communication, cashier-customer, husband-wife, brother-sister, officer-driver. Come up with the situation to be explained and acted out, then
Design your model; Include the Essential Components of Communication properly labelled. Creativity is strongly encouraged. Tips for successful model design When selecting the situation/scenario, you should identify and define the various types of communication in which persons in that scenario are involved. Models are visual representations. Anyone SHOULD be able to recognize the process and system as communication is acted out in your specific scenario. Use the most appropriate technology and design tools help with designing your model. THEN ANSWER THESE QUESTIONS: –
- Describe (show evidence) how your model reflects the elements in the communication process.
- Explain the relevance of the context in which the communication situation unfolds and how understanding by the parties involved is impacted.
Express you own perspective as to why and how communication takes place
What challenges to the communication process can you identify in your particular context?
What conclusions can you draw from the case you have designed in relations to communication as a process and the function of all the elements?
GRADING: Maximum points: (100) Please upload your assignment. It is the first assignment in the packet that you have. This is due on: ______ at 11:59 pm. The work must be typed. The picture of your own creative design of the Transactional Model does not have to be typed. You can submit a photo of your design. Please make sure it is submitted as a word or PDF file.
