Learning Objectives
Encouraging / enforcing students to collaborate with 4 other students completing a group project analyzing datasets to identify current trends in their interested area.
Purpose/Rationale
For most MC students, it will be their 1st time collaborating with other students and completing a group project. They will need to work with follow classmates as well as depending on other classmates.
Instructions
Students will be submitting a final project toward the end of the semester. Throughout the course, they will need to complete weekly assignments to ensure that the final project can be completed.
Format Requirements
a project description / write-up will be provided. In additional, I provide specific tasks for the students to complete each week.
Rubric/Criteria
Each group must present their findings as a presentation and a 7-page write-up is required. Each student is also expected to complete 6 python requirements, such as evaluating data, creating visualization of the findings, processing live data.
